Candy Sweeper
The game was made for the "GoedWare Game Jam Halloween Edition",
with the theme "You are the monster".
ABOUT THE GAME:
The game is basically a version of mine sweeper with candy instead of mines and a couple of powers.
some random tiles will have an extra monster body part, each part is a different power.
- Heart - the next candy you open won't be game over.
- Hand - flags a random candy (click the powered tile to activate).
- Eye - opens a random cluster of tiles, not candys of course (click the powered tile to activate).
- Tooth - opens a random tile and all of it's neighbouring tiles except for the candys, they get flagged (click the powered tile to activate).
CONTROLS:
- Open a tile - left click
- Flag a tile - right click
- Unflag a tile - right click again
- Activate a power - left click on powered tile
HOW THE GAME WORKS:
For anyone who doesn't know how the original mine sweeper works here is the explanation.
you basically open tiles and your main goal is not to open a mine, in this case it's candy.
All tiles that are not a candy will have a number on them that will represent how many candy tiles are touching this tile (including corners).
In this game you need to think about which tiles to open based on the information you have from other tiles, to make it easier you can right click on a tile to flag it if your sure this tile is a candy and that will prevent it from opening unless you right click on it again to unflag it.
